Ask a new question. Windows 10 Pro runs fine but unsupported , but rips the correct video drivers out and replaces them with incorrect Microsoft generic drivers from CY, ruining many aspects of my video display. Many people have had this problem which is due to how handles drivers.

I have the correct video drivers protected in the Group Policy Editor before updating, but ignores my GPE settings, and then does not allow me to restore the correct drivers. If I update direct to 20H2, has this problem been corrected so that I can retain the correct video drivers, such as honoring the GPE protection?

Or reinstalling the correct drivers at that time which does not allow, but will 20H2 allow it? And is there a way to update direct from to 20H2 in a way that I can roll back to if 20H2 does not work? I suppose I could image the and keep rolling updates until I get to 20H2, and then if it still does not work correctly, simply replace the drive with my image, right? Was this reply helpful?
