Ask a instqller question. Normally you’d use the Windows 10 apps section to de-install OneDrive after which you can use the normal installer to install it again. I also had little luck with this method and right now I can’t manage to de-install OneDrive, let alone re-install it.
For some reason the onedrive executable got removed from my system thus the service refuses to start. I have found something else. There also exists a Dowload updater service see services. It might installsr possible that this service is qindows to ‘repair’ your OneDrive setup. You cannot rely on the Office setup because it does not include OneDrive, that too relies on the separate installer.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall OneDrive because I was having syncing problems one of my systems, but not the other. I went to Apps to uninstall but I’m not sure it worked. I downloaded the newest version of OneDrive from Microsoft and tried to install it but the installer said that I had to uninstall OneDrive first, which I did already.
